In ASL IV all of the previous information and ideas from ASL I, II and III are valued. We will further expand our knowledge, understanding and ability of ASL and the Deaf community and culture. Deeper exploration will be achieved by further analysis of historical and cultural milestones of the Deaf experience. The ability to sign abstract ideas of poetry, songs and literature will be featured.

Students are expected to maintain 100% No-Voice and all communications in class will involve signing. A very high level of ability is required. This is considered equal to an AP course.
